Baby Steps To Reaching Big Goals

I wanted to remind everyone about what it takes to really reach any dream or big goals that you have in mind. There’s only one way to reach your goals and live the life that you want to live. It doesn’t matter how big or small your dream is. Baby steps are key!

You must keep in mind, no matter where you are on your journey that it takes these small steps to get to the end. The quote on how to eat an elephant isn’t just a cutesy thing that someone which too much time on their hands made up. It’s true! You eat an elephant one bite at a time (pls don’t actually do this lol) and you reach your goals one step at a time.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and that was one big goal! I don’t know how close you are to God but even HE took 6 days to create the world and rested on the 7th. So what makes you think that if you don’t see results in a month it’s time to quit?! 

Steps to Break Big Goals Down

  1. Get your big goals in mind…make this dream as big as you dare to make it. 
  2. Next, you’re going to break that dream down into smaller goals. For example, if your goal is to change your eating habits, change one bad habit at a time. Start drinking more water instead of soda or other sugary drinks. If your goal is to get more exercise in, start walking 3 days per week. When that feels good, then add some days in.
  3. Last but not least, you’re going to break those smaller goals down into daily actions. Focus on one day at a time. If you keep thinking about the huge goal, there’s a chance that you’ll start to believe that you can’t do it and give up. But if you set daily goals, it’s MUCH easier. Before you know it, you’ll be halfway to your big goalsl! 🙂
