The amount of quick fix weight loss tips out there is staggering! It seriously makes me cringe every time I stumble upon one. Here’s a REAL weight loss tip:
The only way to lose fat and keep it off is to change your eating habits and get more exercise. Period! Eat a well balanced nutrient rich diet and move more.
There’s no diet pill out there that’s going to zoom through your body and burn fat while you eat whatever you want. There’s no easy quick fix way. If there was, America would be super thin and half the health problems we have would be no more. The pharmaceutical industry would be flat broke!
Learn how to eat. It’s not just as simple as “eat less”. While in theory this does work, it’s short term and when you’ve reached your desired weight, the calories go back up and the pounds start stacking back on, most of the time faster and in more of a quantity than it did the last time you lost that 20lb. You need a balance of protein, carbs, and fat to make this work. What those numbers are is individual to you! If you need help figuring that out, let me know and I’ll be glad to help.
Move more. I’m purposely leaving out the word exercise here because many people are allergic to the word itself. Since weight loss is 80% what goes into your mouth, move more will suffice. You can do things like go for walks, spend less time in front of the tv, play with your kids, go purposefully exercise at home, outside, or at a gym or class, play a sport, swim, etc… whatever makes you happy that qualifies as movement will work beautifully.
Leave the diet pills alone or the programs that require you to eat real food only once per day and drink shakes the rest.
You can DO this and the best way is naturally.
Disclaimer: There ARE some companies out there that offer really good products. Pls use common sense and do your due diligence about these and make sure they’re offering a HEALTHY system before you invest. Anything that claims a quick fix or that you can just take a pill and not change habits, beware. Natural nutrition in ADDITION to healthy eating is preferred.
